Love Compassion Hope Suicide Prevention Foundation
The Love Compassion Hope Suicide Prevention Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
We work to prevent suicide and support mental health.
We also help people facing grief and trauma.
Our goal is to make support easier to find.
We want every person to know one thing:
You are not alone.
Why We Began
The Foundation was created by Lori Caputo-Hartford after the loss of her son, Raymond Joseph Caputo III, to suicide.
That loss created a mission.
Lori wanted to help other people and families find hope and support.
She wanted to help people before they reached a crisis.
Today, that purpose guides everything we do.
We turn loss into action.
We turn pain into purpose.
And we work to bring hope to others.
What We Believe
Suicide prevention begins before a crisis.
It begins when we talk.
It grows when we listen.
&
It becomes stronger when people know where to find help.
We believe in education.
We believe in compassion.
&
We believe in connection.
Most of all, we believe that every life matters.
What We Do
We create resources for people of all ages.
We support children, teens, adults, and families.
&
We also create resources for veterans and first responders.
Other resources support healthcare workers and caregivers.
Our work covers many areas.
These include suicide prevention, grief, trauma, anxiety, and mental health.
We also work with other groups to help more people find support.
Our mission continues through LCH-Tech and Ray-Sun Books.
Together, we can reach people in many different ways.
LCH-Tech
Mental Health Tools in Your Hands
LCH-Tech creates mobile apps for mental health and wellness.
The apps offer support that people can carry with them.
Some apps focus on suicide prevention.
Others focus on grief, trauma, anxiety, or recovery.
We also create apps for specific groups.
These include children, teens, veterans, first responders, and healthcare workers.
We also support parents, families, and caregivers.
Help When You Need It
Hard moments do not follow a schedule.
Sometimes you need support right now.
An app can give you a tool to use in that moment.
Our apps may include breathing tools, grounding skills, coping tools, and helpful information.
Some also provide crisis resources.
They can help you understand what you are feeling.
They can also help you decide what to do next.
Our apps do not replace a doctor, therapist, or other care.
They are another form of support.
Technology should help people find human connection, not replace it.
Ray-Sun Books
Books With a Purpose
Ray-Sun Books creates books about mental health and difficult life events.
Our books cover suicide prevention, grief, trauma, anxiety, and recovery.
We also write for families and caregivers.
Other books support children and teens.
We have books for veterans, first responders, and healthcare workers too.
Each book has one goal.
Help people understand, cope, and move forward.
Knowledge Can Help
Sometimes people do not have words for what they feel.
A book can help.
It can explain something that feels confusing.
Can help families understand each other.
It can offer ideas for getting through a hard day.
Most of all, it can remind someone that they are not alone.
Many of our books also have an LCH-Tech companion app.
The book offers more information.
The app puts helpful tools within reach.
Together, they offer education and support.
Books That Support Our Mission
Every Ray-Sun Books purchase helps support the work of the Foundation.
That support helps us create new resources.
It helps us reach more people.
It also helps us continue our work in the community.
Every book has a purpose beyond its pages.
One Mission
The Foundation, LCH-Tech, and Ray-Sun Books work in different ways.
But we share one mission.
We want to prevent suicide.
Want to support mental health.
We want to help families.
We want people to find help sooner.
And we want people to know that hope is possible.
One resource can make a difference.
One conversation can make a difference.
One person who cares can make a difference.
Love. Compassion. Hope.
That is who we are.
